TED in Soweto
TED in partnership with TEDxSoweto, hosted the Johannesburg leg of TED Worldwide Talent Search here in the heart of Soweto on 3 May 2012 at MIAGI Centre for Music, in Morris Isaacson High School. We are thrilled that TED curator Chris Anderson will co-hosted the event with TED content director Kelly Stoetzel and our very own Kelo Kubu, TEDxSoweto convenor. This event is exciting not just for us at TEDxSoweto, but also for the entire TEDx community and TED enthusiasts in this part of the world.
TED TALENT SEARCH
With the upcoming TEDxsoweto event in September you can expect an inspirational Leapfrog talk from amazing speakers. Soweto Internet Radio's founder Zanecebo Mchunu got a chance to interview TED curator Chris Anderson who expressed excitement about TED Worldwide Talent Search being held in Soweto and TED's plans to enable TED talks to be received in local languages.
